The Good, The Bad, and the Horny: A Cautionary Tale, to say the least... (Part 2)

(Recap: I answered an ad for porn work only to find myself on a plane to New Jersey with no actual work planned and sat at an airport for five hours before the so-called "agent" we're calling "John" finally picked me up and brought me to the model house where he attempted to get a higher rate than he'll ever deserve and asked me to do a BJ video to cover rent for the "model house" wherein I was given an empty room with an air mattress.)

The next morning, I woke up and called home and vented about the night before for over an hour. Everything at this point just seemed shady, so my man took a break from researching whatever he was researching for work and turned those skills toward my situation. After my call, "John" took me out to get some groceries. When we got back to the model house, which was actually just "John's" apartment, he once again asked me when I wanted to shoot the content scene. Hmm... Let me think... NEVER!!! But I didn't want to start an issue with the guy, so I just stalled and said I was tired and went and hid in my room. JDevil called me that night and told me he had a friend who was looking to schedule a shoot for the next night. Her name was Lavender Rayne. I contacted her and set up a shoot for the next night at 9:30pm, after the shoot that "John" had setup for me. She would pay me more than double what "John" had found me. I told "John" about it and he said he could get me there no prob. He also said that he knew someone who was looking to setup a gang bang scene, but not for this week, maybe for the next time I was out.

We called the guy and found out that he was trying to setup the "scene" for him and a bunch of his friends. I started to grow suspicious immediately and pointed out that I don't work with anyone who isn't tested. He said that he wasn't sure they all were, but he would check, and if they weren't then he would demand they wear condoms. Uh-huh... He wanted to do a 3 hour gang bang and then give the guys the option to take me into "private sessions" for an hour at a time for $200 with a 70/30 split with him. Oh, and I would have to pay "John" a commission on top of that. So let's recap: the guy was talking about a gang bang with 10-15 questionable males for 8+ hours where I would end up paying two different guys nearly half my earnings. When he asked if the camera really had to be in the room, my suspicions were confirmed. It's a fine line between escorting and porn, but the difference is simple: In porn, the two people fucking are BOTH getting paid. I was so pissed after that I tucked in for the night and talked to my family until I could finally fall asleep. Here's some of what my man's research turned up. In the state of New Jersey, a real, licensed agent must register with the state for $250, carry a $1000 bond, file their schedule of fees with the New Jersey Department of Commerce, follow certain written contract requirements and all of their advertisements must have agency name & license number on them. Not only was this guy the most unprofessional asshole I've ever dealt with, he was also NOT A REAL AGENT! My man said his first clue was that he spelled "copyright" as "copyWright" on his website and used obvious fan photos of himself with people like Jenna Haze, Jules Jordan and Belladonna to try and lend himself credibility. Damn, smart is sexy.

The next morning I woke up to a text from John saying that the initial producer (see Part 1) had a cancellation and could fit me in at 7pm, but I would have to cancel the other 2 shoots I had planned for the day. He told me he preferred I do this shoot anyway because the producer gave him a 30% cut of whatever I made. When I asked him why he was suddenly changing his rates, he explained that was just what he and the producer had always agreed upon. So, he didn't care what I made, he just wanted a bigger cut for himself. I called the producer and asked if there was a better time that day we could arrange for the shoot. He said no, so I told him I couldn't make it, I had prior obligations that "John" knew about. Shortly afterward, "John" knocked on the bedroom door and asked why I had canceled the shoot. I was finally awake enough to roll off the air mattress and explain how unprofessional it was to cancel the shoots I already had booked for a last minute shoot. I could tell he was pissed, but he wasn't going to argue with me with a shoot coming up he could make money on. I was so upset by the whole thing I even considered just taking a cab to the hotel I was shooting at with Lavender later on, waiting there for the shoot and booking a room. I did not want to be in that apartment any longer than I had too, but I had planned poorly, and that morning my bank account was drained by the electric company. I decided I would go to the shoots I had planned, make the money I could, and see how things went from there.

We headed to the first shoot, and because John wold not stop texting while driving through Manhattan, he got lost several times and I ended up being an hour late. Yet another unprofessional mark. The shoot itself went just fine. I was working with Cee Jay Strokes for Monster Filmz. They were great and I would definitely work with them again. I stripped for the camera, played with some toys, and then jumped into my roll as "bitchy CEO". First I toyed my pussy a bit, but that wasn't enough, so I called in my assistant and sucked him hard before making him set up my bed. Why I had a bedroom in my office, I don't know, but I "forced" Cee Jay to endure another blowjob before making him fuck me six ways from Sunday. At the end, he tried to aim for my glasses, but my mouth and tits caught most of his load. It was hot (both figuratively, and literally... They needed AC bad!), and I had a good time. I had another shoot scheduled with them for Wednesday and that was just fine by me. Afterwards, I grabbed my cash and took off with "John" back towards Jersey for my next shoot. At this point he asked or his 15% because he didn't have cash for the tolls, and asked me if he was going to be getting 15% of the next shoot. I told him I didn't think that would be fair, considering he hadn't booked the shoot, but I would pay him for the travel to and from since he was driving me. He responded with a dissatisfied "okay", and I jumped out of the car when we got there.

Because we were late to the first shoot we were late to the second, but Lavender was extremely understanding. These people were amazing to shoot with and a lot of fun. The pics in this blog are some of the BTS that Jupa shot. I did 2 g/g scenes with Tina Tink while Jupa filmed and Lavender Rayne directed. In the first one we did oral and toys, and I got to introduce her to my magic wand (best vibrator EVER!) before she fucked me with one of my giant vibes (I really REALLY like big toys). The second one was fun too, with each of us trading turns in a strap on to fuck each other silly. Then I did a scene with a guy named Freaky that was just straight up fucking ending in my second facial of the night. Between scenes I vented to these wonderful people about what was happening with the "agent" who was little more than a low-rent pimp, and they were angry right there with me. I finally finished shooting with them around 2 am. What is it with me and 2 am? On the way back to "John's" apartment/model house, he asked me again about paying him 15% from this shoot. That he hadn't booked the shoot wasn't good enough. He said that his time was valuable, he had been waiting around for me all day and I hadn't even payed him rent. We had also gone through $20 in tolls that day, so he figured I owed him over $200. I know what you're thinking, and does sound more like a pimp trying to run his game than an agent. I was so pissed at this point I couldn't even speak correctly, so I just told him I was tired and we would figure it out in the morning. He also mentioned that the original producer had called him again to schedule another last minute scene the next day at 7pm and it would again require I cancel the shoot I already had scheduled. I told him I was not interested and he told me "don't worry about it, you'll be fine" and went ahead and scheduled it anyway.

When we got back to the apartment, I called my man and vented some more, and then called Lavender to see if she could pick me up in the morning. I did not want to be there anymore. She said she definitely would, and to call her in the morning. I finally fell asleep at 5am and woke up two hours later hoping that "John" would be asleep so I could call Lavender to pick me up. He had apparently been up all night and was sitting in a chair right next to the front door on his computer, so there was no way I could leave unnoticed. I called Lavender anyway, and she came over to get me. I told "John" I was going out for a quick shoot and would text him later. He said it seemed to him like I was leaving and had no plans of coming back. Apparently, the week before he had had two models do the same thing to him, say they were going on shoots and just never come back. Hmm... If other models have done this to you already, maybe there is something wrong with your company.

After I left, I texted him and told him I wasn't coming back. I know, it's shady, but I felt it was what I had to do to get out in one piece. I asked what his license number was in NJ for his agency and he said he had one in Illinois (Bullshit! Turns out, in the 21st century, looking up that kind of lie is easy because of this thing called, "the internet"!), he just didn't have one for New Jersey yet. SOOOO NOT HOW THAT WORKS! See, the laws for agents change from state to state, and one license isn't necessarily good anywhere else. He claimed I had run off without paying him money I owed him (I payed him 15% of the shoot he got me + $15 for the 6 mile ride to my second shoot) and he was going to ruin my career. I ended up calling Mike at Monster Filmz to explain why I would not be there that day. I also sent an email to the original producer that "John" had failed to book solid with and told him I was sorry for getting him caught in the middle, and if he wanted to work with me next time I was out there than I would gladly schedule something directly with him.

I spent the day on set with Lavender and her posse, had a wonderful dinner with them, and spent the night on her couch. It was the only night I slept peacefully. She is a saint and I am deeply indebted to her for helping me out! The next day, she drove me to the airport, I got on my plane and flew back home. Home sweet home. It was such a relief to be back where I belonged.

So, the moral of this cautionary tale to all new female porn talent out there: NEVER sign on with an agent without checking his references and finding out if he is licensed (if he's supposed to be) in the state he's operating in. A good agent is supposed to line up work for you and take care of legal and financial negotiations. A good agent will look out for you, because a safe and happy you is good for business. Always have work scheduled before you buy a ticket to anywhere and always have a backup plan. These are all things that I should have done and I am kicking myself for learning that the hard way. I've only been in this business for five months, and this was a learning experience for sure. There are far too many "agents" out there who will take advantage of new talent, from wannabe pimps like I ran into, to the shysters who prey on teen girls at malls just to sell them overpriced head shots. There will always be assholes out there who will walk all over others who don't know better. No matter what kind of talent you are, be it porn or something mainstream, remember that you are always in charge and you should never give in to bullying. Never forget that, because I certainly won't.

P.S. Any girl who needs info, thinks they might be in a similar situation, or needs to compare details to see if they are about to sign on with a guy who sounds similar to this, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Someone looked out for me, the least I can do is return the karma.
